In Edelweiss, similar themes of performance and identity are explored as I dress in traditional Jewish clothing and Swiss lederhosen and I read from the Torah at my hypothetical bat mitzvah in front of a metaphorical Western Wall projected as the alps. Here my two cultural identities are clashing as I veer on the edge of adulthood.
