One of my photographs from the Woman in A Mouse Mask series was selected by Andrea Carson, art critic from View On Canandian Art to be featured for an online aucation of emerging contemporary working artists! ArtBomb Daily will put up one piece for auction each weekday, which subscribers will learn about via an email alert. The bidding is opened at 6 a.m. and runs until 11 p.m. Keeps you eyes peeled for my work which will be featured in the coming weeks. Art makes for great holiday gifts!

I am officially now the new Gallery Assistant for the Doris McCarthy Art Gallery of U of T, Scarborough. This will be the second university gallery that I will be working at. I am very excited to start my new full time job and stop being a struggling poor artist living off the kindness of her siblings.

Also, I am the main coordinator and curator for a new special project space for York University in downtown Toronto with Yam K. Lau. We are finding spaces right now to have a festival for the York community set for March 2012 for undergraduate and graduate students.

I was selected as 1 of 5 emerging photographers for this year's emerging photographers competition at the artist project Toronto. I was overwhelmed when I got the call right after work and jumped around in the coat check at tiff with my co-workers as I freaked out. I canŐt wait to make some new work with 3D cameras. Please check out the wonderful work from my peers who will also be showing at the exhibition in March.

I was selected by the wonderful people of Sparkbox Studio for an emerging artist award that will allow me to travel to picton to work on my matchbook series from march 7 - 14, 2010. I can't wait to meet some new artists and get started in a real studio instead of my own room.

I have been selected by the French Consulate in Toronto to represent at a francophone conference on contemporary visual arts in Parisian culture. Le Rencontre des Jeunes Internationales is an annual conference featuring francophone youth participating in cultural programming including workshops, discussions and critical engagement. My first time in Europe!
